Michael Darmanin is the Chief Executive Officer of Sellstate Realty, where he leads one of the most dynamic real estate franchise organizations in the country. What makes Michael unique in his leadership position is that his background does not come from real estate. Instead, he blends a strong foundation in engineering and marketing with a passion for innovation and growth.

Michael studied Computer and Electrical Engineering before earning an Honors Baccalaureate in Commerce with a Specialization in Marketing from the University of Ottawa’s School of Management, one of Canada’s top business schools with international accreditation. This rare combination of technical expertise and strategic marketing insight has made him the driving force behind Sellstate’s technological advancements, including the development of Powersuite. Today, he leads Sellstate’s push to streamline systems, making them more efficient, effective, and valuable for franchisees, brokers, and agents.

Beyond business, Michael is deeply committed to community and family values. He encourages Sellstate brokerages to give back locally, while he and his family personally support their children’s school and programs for students in need.

Michael has been married to his wife Tara for 15 years, and together they raise their daughter and son. In his rare free time, he enjoys family adventures and all things Disney.
